ok I think that's it for now- I can't figure out how to get the new pics off my phone :). But we're hoping to be in by the end of the month! yikes! I can't wait to post the "before and after pictures" :)
Thanks for looking!

Laundry Area!

We tore down the shelves and put in new flooring (that's what I'm cutting) and hooked up our washer and dryer and I got a FREEZER- which I am so excited about due to my new obsession with couponing- yes that's a verb :) We'll chat if I haven't told you about it yet :) :) http://www.jillcataldo.com/node/5 - here's a cool video on it :)
oh and we are going to build a big cupboard above the chest freezer- there's never enough storage!

My new kitchen!

This is us putting on new counter-tops, and putting in the new flooring. I was so excited about this hard-wood floor- I wanted to spend the night on it before it was even finished! Thanks Joe and the Muirs!!!

Ok- so here is a picture of the kitchen floor- One of the few things that we had decided was salvageable. Well, during the winter we left the water running so that the pipes wouldn't freeze (because its just that cold out here!). Unfortunately Trev was in school full time and I was working full time so some weeks we could only work on it during the weekends. One Friday we showed up ready to work and found the faucet sprayer had busted and was spraying water all over the kitchen- and had been for most of the week by the looks of it. We vacuumed up gallons and gallons of water, but the kitchen floor was destroyed and the wood underneath the floor was even warped from all the water... it was a hard day. ps- hurry and look at that goofy picture of trev before I get in trouble and have to take it off :)

we painted so long- trev thought I was going gray from it! :)
We also had to replace some of the floor boards that had a lot of water damage- We were pretty proud of ourselves when that was done!

Painting took a lot longer than i had imagined... We painted every room, every ceiling and all the cupboards. Which I soon learned, doesn't just mean painting, it means, sanding, scrubbing, taping the edges, priming, painting, painting again, and for the cupboards, a finishing coat- oh and then there are ALWAYS more "touch-ups" to be done...oh yes and taking off the tape... which in some places we still haven't done yet... :) oops!
AND of course... lots of paint fights :)

Look at all the great help we've had!

(ps- this is the outside of the trailer)

Look at the GREAT help I had!!
( The wives worked while the boys went fishing.... :)

GROSSS! That tub was the first thing to go! yuck!
Us, girls kept busy with the kitchen cupboards while the boys worked... well I think Trev mostly assisted ;) Can't really blame him- look at that mess!

what the pictures don't say: The previous owners had a dog and smoked, and some crazy kids that made a mess of everything (colored on the wall, etc. It smelled awful, I couldn't stand to work in it with the windows closed for the first while. I will spare you most of the details, but it was really dirty and gross. I can't believe we bought something so old, and well... trashy, really trashy. You should have seen people's reactions when we showed them the place (priceless!) - but don't worry we got a really good deal :)

We're Homeowners!!!....kinda :)

So we bought a trailer. Trev's always wanted to buy a crappy trailer, and fix it up- and well I've just been anxious to have our own place. So here's some pictures of the tons of work- but lots of potential ahead of us :)
